Lviv national arts gallery is one of the richest museums in Ukraine, its collection numbers over 62 thousand creations of world and national arts from ancient times till the present time. The most valuable are the collections of European arts, Lviv sculptures, Ukrainian portraits of the ХVI-XІХ centuries, icons and furniture. Department of European arts of the XIV-XVIII centuries is located in Pototsky Palace, it is one of Lviv most interesting architectural monuments of the XІХ century. Palace is decorated with stucco moulding, chandeliers, fireplaces, ornamental gratings and beautiful mirrors. The decoration of a mirror hall (former dance hall) and of a blue hall (former dining hall of the Pototsky family counts) compels a special admiration. Everything can be observed in the exposition of the palace ground floor.

On the first floor the arts of Italy, France, Austria, the Netherlands and of other countries are represented. Visitors can view the best works, among which there are: Catch Corals and Pearls by Jacopo Tsukki, A Young Patrician's Portrait by Sofonisba Anguissola, Three Saints by unknown artist of the XV century, Mariya's Visit to Elizabeth by Jan van Skorel, At Moneylender's by Georges de la Tour, sketches of the monumental paintings by Paul Troger, Joseph Winterhalter, Anton Franz Maulbertsch and by other artists.

During summer period: 11:00-18:00 (booking office works till 17:00).
During winter period: 10:00-17:00 (booking office works till 16:00).
On Sundays and Tuesday: 12:00-18:00 (booking office works till 17:00).

groups of pupils, students, pensioners  — 60-90 UAH.

On Fridays the entrance for pupils and for pensioners is free of charge.
