The house is connected with many historic events in Lviv.

In 1629 the first post-office in Ukraine was opened here. Roberto Bandinelli, Italian by origin, was the person who organized it.

There was also a mint in the house's courtyard for some time that moved from Krakiv to Lviv.

At the beginning of ХІХ с. there was a bookshop of K. Wild on the ground floor of the house where famous people of art used to meet.

In 1841 the first photo laboratory was opened here.

Nowadays, each year new exhibitions are organized in the house.
