МUSEUM OF BREAD

Description:
Bohdan Neporadny, an honoured teacher of Ukraine, is the author of the idea. The museum of bread was opened in 1987. Its exposition is displayed in students's hostel building of Lviv technical secondary school. The museum exposition fully informs about the history of grain production culture, explains the importance of bread in the man's life.

The museum occupies the area of 300 m2. Its funds contain more than 1,5 thousand exhibits. They are instruments of bread production, things of everyday life, folk clothes, adornments, samples of grain crops, etc.

In 1990 the museum got the title 'The People's Museum'.


The museum numbers 18 thematic expositions. The most interesting are: 'Crafts and Trades', 'Peasant's Cottage', 'Local Folk Clothes', 'Ukrainian Embroidery', etc.
