Olha Bachynska (1875-1951) was the first woman in Galicia to head an important economic enterprise during the period of cooperative movement. She was the member of the board of one of the largest cooperative organizations in the region till 1939.
Olha Bachynska was well-known not only as a public figure but also as an experienced ethnographer and museum manager. She gathered a large collection of folk clothes and embroidery that was exhibited in Vienna in 1915.
The museum exposition contains the part of O. Bachynska collection. There are also her personal things, family photos, documents and archive notes.
The museum is in the house where O. Bachynska lived with her husband. Its exposition is displayed in two rooms.
