The museum exposition represents the materials about the history of the institute. The large part of the exposition is dedicated to count Stanislaw Skarbek (1780-1845) — the richest magnate and sponsor in Galicia of ХІХ с. He left a beautiful heritage to us — the wonderful building of the Lviv Theatre (today the theatre named after M. Zankovetska) — one of the largest in Europe of that time (it could seat 1460 spectators). Besides, an immense palace was built in Zaklad at that period, too. The Charity Institute was the last charity and business project of the count.
Interesting materials are dedicated to Denys Sichynsky — the famous composer in Galicia and the conductor of the local orchestra. He also taught the pupils to sing and play various instruments. This period in his life was very productive. Here he created musical compositions that made him famous.A number of photo materials about the pupils' life in "Zaklad" where they found not only refuge, but also had an oppotunity to get some profession, are worth seeing.
Today "Zaklad" can be proud not only of its museum, but also of its own theatre and art gallery where talented works of the patients are represented.
