The museum of Tustan history is a part of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve 'Tustan'. Created in 1997, it became a centre of preservation and display of archaeological finds gathered around the local fortress.

The exhibits on display: wood fragments (wood shakes and shingles, nails, wedges, etc), leather and glass fragments, ceramics (dated back to the 9-17th centuries), tiles (15-16th cent.) and such unique items as kitchen utensils made of wood (10th cent.), a reliquary cross (encolpion) and arms of Tustan warriors.

The collection gems are several models — 'Tustan in the fifth building period' and 'Suspended Fortress Gates', which were created as supplements in a big project of 3D-model of Tustan.

One of the exhibitions is dedicated to life and work of an archaeologist and artist Mykhailo Rozhko. The fortress research started under his guidance in 1971, and he made a significant contribution into scientific work on this object.

The other remarkable section of the museum is a full-size reconstruction of hrydnytsia — a chamber of a local army commander (13th cent.)

There's also a souvenir shop where visitors can purchase original artworks created by local craftsmen or get some tourist information about the region. There's also a cultural centre Khata in Hlymboke (the hut in Hlymboke), which is one more historical project of the reserve.

Tickets including both guided tours (in the museum and around the reserve) are available.
Adults — 80 UAH.
Children, students, retired — 40 UAH.

Horodyshche tour (around the rock fortress), scheduled 10:00-17:15, is free of charge.

There is an adventure park 'LaZanka' (opens daily, 10:00-20:00) in the reserve.

Go by public transport
Go by any train of Uzhgorod direction to Stryj or Skole station, then take a bus and go to the centre of Urych village. The museum is located nearby a wooden church, on the right of the road.

Go along the road Kyiv – Lviv – Chop from Lviv city. Go past Verkhnie Syniovydne vyllage and turn right following 'Urych' road sign. In Urych go along the main road. The museum is located in the village centre, nearby a wooden church, on the right of the road.
