Description:
Zhovkva Castle museum has been organizing mutable exhibitions since 2001, аnd the constant exposition has functioned since 2007.
The constant exposition presents the history of Zhovkva town, the development of the town fortifications and the information about the prominent persons having lived or visited Zhovka. The castle model, the part of wooden water pipe of XVII с. and the icon fragments of XVIIІ с. will be of great interest. One can't but admire the exclusive exhibits - two wooden angels of XVII с., which present Zhovkva carving school, widely known abroad.
The photos exhibiton (the 30th of ХХ с.) by Emil Domansky “Zhovkva citizens and not only” is of great interest, too. All the connoisseurs of art are welcome to “August meetings” — new exhibitions dedicated to the Day of Independance of Ukraine.
