The museum represents information about railway business that was of great significance for the region.
The museum is a steam locomotive with carriages. It is situated within the territory of 'Stare Selo' Museum. The museum exposition is placed in carriages. There are unique exhibits representing the history of narrow-gauge railway development in the Transcarpathian region. The visitors can touch the original instruments and feel themselves real railroaders.
The narrow-gauge railway was built in the late XIX c. and nowadays it practically does not work. That's why the museum exposition is a unique one with historic relics of the narrow-gauge railway of Borzhava, Teresva and Tereblya valley.

Go by any train of Uzhgorod direction to Volovets station, then by bus to Kolochava village centre.
Go by bus Lviv — Khust, Lviv — Tyachiv, Kyiv — Khust to Mizhgirya village, then by bus to Kolochava village. The museum is located on the outskirts of Kolochava museum.
