Worth seeing in Bryukhovychi

  • Church of St. Trinity

    It is a piece of wooden sacral architecture, built in 1756. The church is considered to belong to rare type of wooden churches that consist only of two log-houses. Before World War II it functioned as a Greek-Catholic one. Today, representatives of different religion confessions serve messes here.

  • Fort

    The fort in Bryukhovychi was constructed as a unit of Lviv fortification line in 1912. It occupies a strategic point — at the high hill and consists of several covered galleries with loopholes and a row of trenches. Besides, at the top of the hill, in caves there are two shelters. All those structures have been preserved rather well till nowadays. The fort reminds about the events of the World War I.
