Svirzh Castle is a monument of XVI c. It is one of the most interesting fortification structures in the region. It was first mentioned in 1530, being a property of Svirzki magnates. After World War II the castle laid in ruins. Its reconstruction began in 1975. Today the castle is very popular in cinematography, it was filmed several times.
