Hata-staia (dairy) was opened in 2014. The main attraction is a specially equipped place "where milk is made" — this is how local people call cheese making. The process requires a variety of tools placed in the backyard — from a pot over an open fire to different barrels that are necessary for making and storing sheep milk cheese.
The dairy consists of a corridor and two rooms with authentic clothing and household goods. The oldest part of the building is a room with a stove where one can find embroidered shirts and towels, dishes (plates, jugs), carpets, etc.
The other room called "Hutsulska svitlytsia" serves as a venue for master classes: here you can make local meals such as banosh (cornmeal porridge), listen to the sounds of drymba (Jew's harp), and try weaving.
