The museum is located in a two-storey wooden building. Founded in 1938.
Authentic Hutsul culture is represented there by a wide rande of exhibits: household items, local pictorial art, etc. The main points of interest are such exhibitions as folk costume and traditional embroidery, pottery and woodenware.
There is also a section that represents history of Verkhovyna region: historical documents, photographs, books and personal possessions of local citizens are displayed there.
You can gain real life experience by taking part in a workshop on making famous Hutsul carpets and feel as a real Hutsul person.
