The modern exposition displays a variety of folk artworks, such as: national costumes, embroidery, ceramics and wood carving. There's also a section dedicated to history of education in Mukacheve town. The other big part of the exposition consists of everyday items: wooden objects, pottery, weaving, wickerwork and household tools (loom, spinning wheels, etc).
Each item of the exhibition is one of a kind, with unique ornaments and technique.
In the museum visitors can also see a collection of printed materials on the topic: textbooks, monographies, scientific journals, conference programmes, exhibition catalogues, photobooks, and many more. Total number of exhibits in the museum — 411 items. There not only guided tours available, but visitors can also take part in variety of seminars on folk culture and arts. The museum staff also conduct field expeditions for the purpose of collection replenishment.
