The museum was opened in 1996 in the building of the former reading room of Prosvita society. The museum exposition numbers more than 100 exhibits. Most of them represent the life and creative work of Mykhaylo Zubrytsky, the Ukrainian ethnographer and researcher of folklore. The collection of the Boyky things of everyday life are worth seeing, too.
