Description:

The museum is located in the music school. It was founded in 2007 by a local musician Mykhaylo Strutynsky and based on his private collection of traditional clothing.

In the exhibition, items of folk Hutsul clothing are represented, together with ones from other regions of Ukraine (20th cent., reconstructed). There are also such exhibits as the collection of keptars (a type of traditional waistcoat for men), old photographs, musical instruments, everyday items, folk paintings and icons.

There's also a working loom used for conducting masterclasses. Not only weaving masterclasses are available: you can also get a lesson on basket weaving, handicraft (like making wedding garland headbands). Some clothing items are available for photoshoots.
