The Park is located in Irshava district of Transcarpathian region. Its total area is 6101 hectares. The park was established in 2009.
The main attractions of the park are: the deepest peat bog in Ukrainian Carpathians, called 'Chorne bahno' (Black Bog, 7 m); the geological reserve 'Enchanted Valley' with original stone formations (up to 100 m) and the virgin beech forests.
Along the territory of the Park there are marked ecological footpaths and routes.
