It is worth noting that for 25 years the museum operated on the territory of the "Skhidnytski Karpaty" health resort. The museum was located in a small house, which was renovated and allocated for the museum by the chief physician of the "Skhidnytski Karpaty" health resort, Zynoviy Kraychyk. Back in 2000, at the request of Hanna Stotska, daughter of Omelyan Stotskyi, researchers of the Drohobychchyna Museum developed a thematic and exhibition plan and created a museum exhibition based on materials from the family archive.
Later, a decision was made to move the museum to a new location. Exactly where it was solemnly opened on April 24, 2026. Here are collected exhibits related to the life of Omelyan Stotskyi — the discoverer of mineral water field in Skhidnytsya.
Omelian Stotsky is a highly educated person, an engineer, a researcher of mineral waters in Skhidnytsya. Now the balneological resort is named in his honour.
In the museum exposition personal things of the reseacher are represented — his bag, a family armchair and the old piano are worth special attention. The piano resembles the fact that O. Stotsky was a talented musician and composer, played masterly Beethoven works and his own original walts.
A number of documents and photos also attracts the visitor's attention.
More than 50 years have passed from that time. The monument to Omelian Stotsky was made by Lviv sculptor Vasyl Odrekhivsky.
