The church is the oldest building in Pylypets. It is an authentic monument of baroque wooden architecture. The church is assumed to have been built in the II half of the XVIII c. Besides, there is an ancient iconostasis, dating back to the XVIII c., inside the church.
The wooden bell tower from the same period is located nearby.

It is located on Pylypets river (Tysa river basin) at the foot of Hymba mountain (1491 m) at the distance of 10 km from the railway station in Volovets and at a distance of 6 km from Pylypets village.
The waterfall (14 m high, with 5 cascades) is especially beautiful in early spring, when the snow melts, but it is a popular tourist attraction in all seasons.

Entrance fee: for adults — 15 UAH, for children (up to 16 y. o.) — 10 UAH.
Parking: car — 20 UAH, mini bus — 30 UAH.
There is a gazebos (50 UAH per hour). 1 cord of firewood — 30-40 UAH.

Мальовничий гірський масив у межах Полонинського хребта між ріками Латориця й Ріка. Його довжина складає понад 50 км, а найвища вершина — гора Стій (1681 м н. р. м.). Це найдовша полонина Закарпаття, вона розташована у межах Воловецького, Міжгірського, Свалявського, Іршавського і частково Хустського районів Закарпатської області. Значна частина гір вкрита чорничниками, на західних схилах можна побачити букові праліси з окремими хвойними деревами.

У минулому Полонина Боржава була районом відгінного вівчарства (звідти і назва), сьогодні — район туризму. Влітку тут пролягають одно- та багатоденні пішохідні маршрути, взимку на відрогах працюють декілька гірськолижних комплексів у Пилипці, Подобовці, Ізках. На теренах є 3 природоохоронні території та пам’ятки природи: заказники Річанський, Росішний, Потік Оса.
