ART GALLERY

Description:
The museum is situated in the house built in 1864 as a summer residence for Endre Diord, a minister of Department of Agriculture in Hungary. In 1986, after the restoration, the museum exposition was opened here.

Today the museum collection contains 170 pictures (watercolours, graphics and other technics) of modern Transcarpathian artists. The paintings of A. Kashshay (1921-1991), the people's artist of Ukraine, are of special interest.
