Native Village Museum

Description:
On July 18, 1999 Synkiv village celebrated its 500th anniversary. Especially for this fact the Native Village Museum was opened. The exposition numbers over 1000 displays and represents a collection of old icons, books, money, Ukrainian towels, clothes and agricultural implements.

Copies and originals of the documents, parish registers and a model of the village according to the map of 1844 year, which is a very valuable exhibit of the museum, provoke a great interest.

Museum's exposition consists of such sections: From the depth of the centuries, Under the rule of Austro-Hungary and Poland, Map of the Synkiv village lands (1844 year), Holy Virgin Protection Church, From the history of schools development, Village in the ХХ century.

Museum constantly gets new exhibits and materials, among them the Chronicle of School and the Album with sightseeing tours are the most interesting.

From 09:00 to 18:00, Saturday and Sunday — days off.
