The museum was opened 4 November 2011 in a two-storey wooden building. There is a kitchen, a refectory and a hall on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a museum exhibition, metropolitan bishop's chambers and rooms of his entourage.
The modern exhibition consists of books and journals on the topic, everyday items and photographs representing the village history. There are also historical materials about remarkable local figures who had to do with founding a metropolis (religious jurisdiction) in Bila Krynytsia; there are also textbooks and authentic clothing of Old Believers from different time periods.
