The museum was opened in 1987 as the Textile museum. 450 exhibits are represented here. There are krosnos (looms), terlytsia (the tool for preparing threads), hunia (outerwear) and besahas (bags). There are also such items as a 100-years old men's clothing, women's dresses, embroidered towels and sheets, kitchen utensils, furniture, etc.
