The Nature Museum
of Pechenizhyn Foresrty Unit

Description:

The museum has been functioning for over 25 years so far. It's located in a separate building belonging to the Pechenizhyn forestry unit.

The exposition is placed in three rooms.

Two of them are dedicated to the local species of forest animals, such as European bison (remarkably large animal brought from the forests of Belarus), deer, lynx, wolf, boar, and some others.


The third room contains the collection of bird species. You can also see there rock specimens.

There are information stands around with descriptions of the local flora and fauna.

Hours:
10:00-17:00, Monday, Thursday — closed.
Entrance fee:
Adults — 8 UAH.
Children —2 UAH.
Entrance to the area:
Passenger car — 15 UAH;
Minibus — 25 UAH;
Bus —50 UAH.
