However, this museum is not only pottery but also shows Kobolchyn history. It presents rich arsenal of last century Ukrainian everyday life. Ivan Gonchar selected unique displays for the museum: a big potter's oven, kerosene lamps, old carpets with three flowers, it was a symbol of prosperity; towels, old doors and windows, shutters. In a big house there are a chiseled table, sofas, chests, benches. There the elements of a village house with a stove, that was always a favourite place for children, and the front room for a young girl with its indispensable attributes — motley pillows, embroidered blouses and towels — are reproduced.
