Detailed:
Try to start from Lviv as early as possible. Along Lychakivska street go towards Ternopil. Pass by Vynnyky town, it is an old Lviv suburb, known since 1352 year. There you can see the Ascension Church of Baroque style (1738). The next monument is 8 km far from the bridge on Lviv detour road, which is located immediately outside Vynnyky town. Then turn towards Verkhnya Bilka village sign board. In the village there is a splendid Catholic Church of St. Adalbert (1546), it has preserved elements of Gothic.

If you want to observe one of the oldest Catholic Churches in Lviv you have to move back to Kurovychi village following Kamyanka-Buzka sign board. You will pass by Vyzhnyany village first, where St. Nicolas Catholic Church is located (1400). Then you will go back to the road, in 11 km you will turn to the left towards Busk town sign board. In Hlynyany village there is a wooden church — Assumption of the Holy Virgin (1749).

Then you will go back to the road, on the right side towards Peremyshlyany sign board. If you want to get to the Univ Monastery follow the sign boards.

There is one of the best preserved Lviv castles almost 18 km from Univ called Svirzh Castle. From that place you will go back to Ternopil road and reach Zolochiv, there you can also view many interesting places which this town is rich for — castle, churches, catholic church. If you have time left from Zolochiv you can go to Pomoryany. Mostly it is rarely visited by tourists with their guides, but in fact it is also rich for different monuments.

Road from Zolochiv leads via an ancient town, called Sasiv (former balneological health resort, well-known in Europe) to Pidhirtsi. There is a well-known Pidhirtsi Castle and other monuments near it — the site of ancient settlement Plisneska and the monastery of the XVII-XVIII centuries. To get to the monastery you can following the sign board at Pidhirtsi village entrance (on the left side of the road).

From Pidhirtsi a straight road leads to Olesko. Olesko Castle is one of the most popular fortification building in Ukraine. From that place you can turn back to Lviv city with several stops in Busk and Novy Mylyatyn.

At summer period this route can be overcome by your own transport during one day. In spring, winter and autumn, when the days are shorter, it is reasonable to think about a place to sleep (in Zolochiv there are several hotels of economy class), or you can go back to Lviv and continue your trip the next day. You can eat in Zolochiv or Olesko, in the castles there are interesting restaurants with old Ukrainian cuisine. The only problem is that during weekends it is difficult to find free seats.
