  • Church of St. Michael

    The church of St. Michael is one of the oldest wooden churches in the region.
    This unique sample of the early Galician architectural school was built in 1598. During the last restoration of 1992 one of the oldest in Ukraine wall paintings was found out. It dates back to 1603.
    There is also an ancient iconostasis inside the church. It dates back to the II half of the XVII c. One part of it was made by Ivan Ruthkovych, the well-known icon painter.
    There is a wooden bell tower nearby, dated back to the XVIII c.
