OLEKSANDR MYSHUHA Museum

Description:
Among the most popular opera singers of the past, an important place belongs to Oleksandr Myshuha. A famous tenor was born on June 7, 1853 year in Novy Vytkiv village. He was also buried there.

The museum displays tell us about Oleksandr Myshuha's life and his creative activity, about his relations with distinguished artists (his contemporaries): I. Franko, M. Lysenko, S. Krushelnytska, M. Mentsinsky, M. Mykysha, and also display units in memory of the singer. V. Dubyna consigned different materials, he was O. Myshuha's worshipper. A tape recording of Oleksandr Myshuha's voice and photos of his ashes reburial in Novy Vytkiv cemetery (1922 year) are of special value.
