Local History Museum of Busk

Description:

The museum was opened 23 August, 2013 as a project of public initiative. Three sections are located in the building of Busk Community Centre.

The first section is a place for ethnographical collection consisting of everyday items, furniture, clothing and artworks from Busk and Nadbuzhya region (19th-20th centuries). Here you can learn about famous citizens of Busk, architectural and cultural sites of the town and region around, having a look at historical photographs as well.

A new section of modern history was created in 2014 in the basement room under the stage of Community Centre. It was entitled 'Maydan–ATO–Liberation Movement zone' and displays items gathered by participants of the Revolution of Dignity and ATO (antiterrorist operation) and their families.

In old masonry cellars, former Polish falconry house, the next exposition is placed. It's the section of ceramics, glass, flint and stone items. In this part of the museum scientific quests for local pupils are regularly organized.

The next section, being designed and planned for opening in the nearest future, is 'Kryivka' (the local name for a bunker).
