Description:

The opening ceremony was held in the museum 7 December 1993. The museum's room is located in the building of preparatory school named after M. Shashkevych.

The founders were a deputy principal and English teacher Stefania Hrynda and Ukrainian philologist Anna Savka; the room design was made by the local arts teacher Stepan Shevchuk. The local collection presents the life and work of Markiyan Shashkevych.

Guided tours:
The local pupils will conduct a tour free of charge.
