The castle in Pomoryany was built in XVI с. Its prosperity was connected with Jan III Sobesky, the Polish king. He rebuilt the castle into the splendid palace surrounded by the landscape park. There were different periods in the history of the castle. Now this monumental structure is neglected. It contains the castle complex, the main courtyard and fragments of huge fortification walls with corner towers.
