ALEKSANDER FREDRO Room-Museum

Description:
The renovated exposition was opened on June 19, 2010, on the eve of Aleksander Fredro's birthday, the prominent Polish playwright. The memorial room of A. Fredro and A. Sheptytsky is located in the family estate in Vyshnya village.

It is the monument of civil architecture of the early XIX c. There is Vyshenka river nearby, and a beautiful park with exotic plants was laid around the estate.

The room-museum is situated on the ground floor of the former palace. There is an authentic furniture in the exposition. An ancient armchair, bookcases, the white fireplace and the fragments of stucco work are worth seeing. The model of the palace reconstruction, made by Warsaw professors and students, is of great interest.
