«THE HISTORY OF TRUSKAVETS» Museum

Description:
The museum was opened in 1982. It is located in the beautiful wooden building of the former villa "Sirius". The museum exposition is displayed in seven rooms. It represents the important periods in Truskavets history and reveals the typical features of everyday life of Boiky — local ethnic group of Ukrainians. There are also two halls for contemporary exhibitions.

Local history is presented in four rooms. Antiquities of the end of the XIX c. — things of everyday life, clothes, embroidery, kitchen utensils, etc. attract a special attention.

Materials and documents depicting Truskavets as a city-resort are of great interest, too.

The modern model of Truskavets — the health-resort in the last room is worth seeing.
