Description:
In 2005 the museum "Drohobychchyna" got one of the most beautiful buildings of early XX c. Nowadays the palace of Art is situated here. The house is a sample of late Baroque style, known as "Villa Bianki".

Full-scale art exhibitions are held here. The museum also has regular expositions:

  • "Boyki's House". The interior and everyday life is represented in the exposition.
  • "Embroidery of Drohobych region". Here five districts are represented. All the items are decorated with special local techniques. The author's embroidery of Myroslava Kot is also presented here.
  • "Painted Eggs (Pysanka) of Boyki". The collection contains ancient and modern samples. One can see the process of painted eggs renovation.
  • Ukrainian paintings of ХХ с.
  • In the museum exposition the works of local artists — members of art association are represented.

    In 2001 the museum collection was enriched by Bruno Schulz murals. Bruno Schulz was born and lived in Drohobych. The exhibits of two rooms inform the visitors about life and creative work of Bruno Schulz.
