The unique visitor interpretive centre was opened in April 2016. The building, which used to be the residence of Leopold Popper von Podhragy (the founder of the narrow gauge railway), is the second oldest in the village.

The interactive exposition will help you to find out more about natural history of the region and the whole ecosystem of the Carpathians as well. Huge section of the museum is dedicated to the history of the local wood industry and narrow gauge development in Vyhoda. The most interesting items in the centre are the rare steam locomotive, the railway model, samples of tree trunks, food chain models, etc.

The cultural history of the region is represented with ethnographical exhibits and artworks of folk craftsmen.
