BEAR'S MUSEUM

The museum was found by the public organization "Our Home — Manyava" in 2006. It is an ecological organization. Its activities are directed to protection of the brown bear in the Carpathians.

In Ukraine the brown bear lives mostly in the Carpathians. In 2005 there were about 200 animals. The brown bear is considered to be an endangered species.
