Art Association Gallery «DZYGA»

Description:
The gallery was opened in 1997. It is located at the ancient city corner, in the main street of the former Armenian block in medieval Lviv. At the entrance to the art center visitors are greeted by a unique monument — a monument to Smile (sculptor S. Derhachov, 2000). On the ground floor there is a gallery itself, an exhibition hall and a cafe in retro style. On the first floor visitors are welcomed by a restaurant where a jazz band plays at 9 p.m. Here one can use Wi-Fi.

The gallery is an ideological and material center of Dzyga Art Association. It is an organization of artists, public figures, businessmen. During 19 years of its existence Dzyga has been the organizer of more than 400 exhibitions, 1250 club concerts, 26 festivals, 360 literary presentations and other unusual attractions.
