The LYUBYSTOK Lodge (Lovage)

Location:

In Yaremche town, 2 km from the town centre.
Asphalted road makes an approach to the lodge.

Accommodation:

A two-storey building near the forest (20 m) and the Prut river (300 m).
The building has nicely arranged large territory around it.
On the first floor, there are 3 double rooms (for 6 persons), a bathroom (there are 2 bathrooms in the building) with a WC and a bathtub.
One of the rooms has 2 single beds, the other has a folding sofa, a wardrobe and TV.
The hosts live on the ground floor.

Heating: hot-water.
Water supply: cold and hot water is available 24 hours.

Meal:

Near the house (within 5 to 10 minutes' walking) there is a café (kolyba) and two restaurants.

Service includes:

The hosts can pick you up at the railway station or at the bus station.
Parking, garage.
Satellite TV: 25 Ukrainian and Russian channels.
Cooking facilities, fridge, ironing facilities, tape recorder.
A large library, where there are all literary genres.
Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed every 3 days, bed linen is changed every 5 days.

The hosts give detailed information regarding the local sights, skiing and tourist equipment for hire and car hire.
The nearest ski lifts are 3 km from the lodge, in Yaremche, and 32 km both in Vorokhta and in Bukovel.

Tips:

Lyubystok is a plant, and in popular etymology, it is connected with the word "to love". It is widely used in folk medicine and as a magic remedy to bewitch, and also to frighten evil spirits away.

How to get there:

By public transport
From Lviv or Kolomyya or Ivano-Frankivsk to Yaremche go by train or by bus. The hosts can pick you up both at the railway station and at the bus station.

By car
From Lviv or Ivano-Frankivsk to Yaremche go along the road P-03 (Lviv-Rakhiv-Mukacheve). In Yaremche opposite the turn to Karpaty Hotel turn left to National Park check point. The lodge is situated 200 m behind the gate, on the left side of the road.
