Transport in Kolomyia

How to get to Kolomyja:

From Kyiv go by train No41 Moscow—Chernivtsi or by train No49 Kharkiv—Ivano-Frankivsk.
From Lviv go by train Brest—Chernivtsi, Minsk—Varna, Moscow—Chernivtsi, Lviv—Chernivtsi or Przemysl—Chernivtsi.

Go to Kolomyja by bus from Ivano-Frankivsk — the bus station is situated near the railway station, buses run minimum once an hour.

There is regular traffic between Kolomyja and Yaremche, Kosiv, Chernivtsi. It will take 1—1,5 hour to get to each of them.

From the bus station buses and minibuses ("marshrutki") run to most of local villages.

Both stations are situated not far from the city centre. If your luggage is not large, you may walk to the centre. And the distance between the railway and bus station would be better covered by bus or by taxi.
